Iconic is Utica’s premier restaurant and bar located in Utica, NY inside the DoubleTree Hotel Utica The Hotel Utica, built in 1912, was the premier hotel in Central New York for decades. The hotel hosted many notable figures in American history, including Presidents Roosevelt and Taft, Mickey Mantle, Johnny Cash, Rita Hayworth, and Amelia Earhart. The bar wall displays photos of some of the hotel’s renown guests. The hotel, restaurant, and bar were completely renovated in 2017. The inspiring 1912 architecture was refurbished and the space was updated with contemporary decor creating a unique ambiance that is unmatched in the area.
Our innovative menu contains local favorites and dishes that strive to become the new local favorites! The dining room welcomes casual and special occasion dining. Our culinary team varies the menu to reflect the seasons and current dining trends. Iconic is the on site caterer and event planner for all weddings, events, and meetings held at the DoubleTree Hotel Utica. Our catering menu is prepared by the same exceptional kitchen that services the restaurant. The professional event planning staff will work with you to ensure a successful and memorable event!

“The service was fantastic as we sat right at the bar, the drinks were amazing tried one of the specialty ones (Carmel apple martini) was delicious! And the food was to die for! My friend ordered the Blackened Salmon and it was amazing, I do not eat seafood but was forced to try it of course and would actually order it myself! Overall great experience and will definitely be back!”

We stumbled upon this location while in town from “Long Island for a 1 night stay. We had drinks and dinner at the bar. The service was exceptional our bartender Linda and other bar staff really took care of us. Chilled glasses throughout , never waited for drinks despite a busy bar and tap room full of customers. Would love to return again sometime. The Utica Beers were outstanding! What a fun place.”
“My wife and I sat at the bar on Sunday for drinks and dinner. Met people from all over the country and had great conversation. The bar area is setup perfectly! Wide open so everyone can mingle, yet large so you can have private conversations amongst yourselves without everyone listening in. Very satisfied with my Utica Riggie order.
